Elissa Ryan Morris is a semi-retired attorney homeschooling mom whose current purpose in life is to do what needs to be done to launch her three children into successful lives. Her husband, Jonathan, is a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test for Hulu/Disney. Their oldest daughter is 23 and on the Autism Spectrum. She is very outgoing, social, independent, and her life revolves around dance. She wants to have a place of her own, like her neurotypical friends, and needs some support and structure to make independent living successful. She needs a place like WeBUILT. But, it is located in Clackamas and we live in the general Beaverton area SO Portland Westside needs a WeBUILT!

Bloom!, A WeBUILT Community, LLC will be a buy in model like WeBUILT Clackamas giving our I/DD young people an ownership investment for their futures. We are designing a “stacked” or apartment building model to promote community and inclusion. After the building is finished, Bloom! will contract with Next Step Strategies to run our community and provide the sort of supports and activities currently provided at WeBUILT Clackamas. We would love to have other dancers and artistic young people join us, but everyone is welcome to come to a meet and greet and ask to be placed on our waiting list.
